MAKING MOVES TO SAVE OUR PLANET

At Britannia Leatherbarrows we have been looking at ways to be GREENER and kinder to our planet. Packing, cleaning, transporting, storing and unpacking a home uses precious resources and energy.

We offer RECYCLED packing materials or 2nd hand boxes, some of our fleet have already been replaced with ELECTRIC vehicles. And now we're planting 50 trees a month with JUST ONE Tree.

Even the flyers we send out are on BIODEGRADEABLE seeded paper, with wildflower seeds embedded. Together we can HELP SAVE THE BEES.

JUST ONE Tree is a non-profit initiative removing CO2 from the atmosphere and reversing biodiversity loss through global reforestation. They plant trees in areas severely affected by deforestation to maximise the effect on reducing global warming. In the process they help to provide agricultural education and sustainable incomes to local communities.

But they don’t stop there. JUST ONE Tree concentrates on restoring the entire ecosystem by planting on land and in the oceans, and they also focus on helping to shape the next generation of planet-conscious thinkers by bringing environmental education into the classrooms with lesson plans and JUST ONE Tree Day.

That's right! Paper that actually grows. So when you've finished with your flyer, JUST PLANT IT!

What is seeded paper?

Seed paper is a type of handmade, ECO-FRIENDLY material that includes any number of wildflower seeds embedded within it.

Our seeded paper consists of Daisy, Poppy and Forget-me-nots.

Even the labels with your address on are BIODEGRABLE.

SEEDED FLYER

Step one:

Soak the paper overnight in water.

Step two:

Lay out the damp paper in approximately 5mm of soil coverage.

Step three:

Water soil lightly and regularly.

Be assured that under current GDPR rules the information taken at the time of the survey is used only by Britannia Leatherbarrows in respect of organising your removal quotation and is not passed to any other party (e.g. a removal delivery agent in another country) unless your expressed permission is granted to us.
